NYG Service Ribbon, Class II (Silver) (Obsolete) (Large)

Description

A. This medal is no longer authorized for award. But !!

B. NYG members who received this award prior to 1 July 1993 may elect to either wear this award or, if it has been awarded to them, the NYG-COM (Old) but not both.

C. The ribbon is white with a blue center stripe with two narrow yellow stripes to either side. This is the same ribbon and medal as the NYG-COM (Old) but without the NYS silver shield affixed to the center of the ribbon.

D. A 3/16″ bronze star  b-star will be awarded in lieu of additional medals.

A 3/16″ silver star  s-star will be awarded in lieu of five bronze.
